Happy Fourth of July 2024!
There are many calls for an upcoming stock market crash akin to 1929, 95 years ago. On this July 4th, I say, "Celebrate the Financial Independence Portfolio!" These companies have paid dividends for at least 100 years. Many even increased their dividend during the Great Recession.
Impressive results and how about York Water which paid uninterrupted dividends even during the Civil War!
Damn the naysayers, full speed ahead! With caution, of course...
